HAVEN PARK, WYOMING: 1966

Nothing much ever happened in Haven Park. Closely knit, deeply religious and with a population of just over 500, it appeared to be a small town just like any other. Then, on the night of July 4, 1966, everything changed forever. Gripped with the horrifying realization there was a killer in their midst, Haven Park reels from one murder after another, at the diabolical hands of one of their own.

The killer is closer than they know...

The first book in this series doesn’t waste any time hooking the reader. The author’s hand reaches out and yanks you forcefully into the story with the prologue and then stands you on your head with the first paragraph of Chapter One. The characters are complex and well-defined, and the emotions engendered are palpable, leaving you alternately angry, sad, or gasping for mercy. The plot is intricate and fast-paced. Just when you think you might have a handle on “whodunit”, along comes another character with an even stronger motive. At the end, you are left so desperate to know what happens next, that you can’t reach for Book Two fast enough.

Amazon Review

Hooked is not an appropriate word. Drawn in from page one of book one. These books keep you from the first. I finished book two in less than one day. You think you know where it's going but boom it takes you somewhere entirely different. Getting ready to start book three. Hope my family can cook for themselves.
